Simple yet fun birthday cards! I thought this one was cute...who doesn't love cupcakes right!?!!?
You will need the following items:
Stamp set 00-374p4-Sweet Treats
Stamp set 416 Happy Birthday
(1) 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 white piece of card stock
(1) 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 printed piece of card stock
(3) 1 1/2 square pieces of blue card stock with the corners rounded
(3) 1 5/8 square pieces of pink card stock with the corners rounded
Black ink
Colors (Copic markers, water colors, etc.)
Versa Mark stamp pad
Black embossing powder
Sakura glue pen
Snow glitter
Ink daubers/ sponge

Stamp your cupcake image and color.  I used my Sakura glue pen on the frosting and covered it with snow glitter and set aside to dry.  On the blue corner rounded squares I used black ink and my ink daubers/sponge around the edges.  I did this technique to my printed card stock.   Adhere your printed piece of card stock to the front of your folded white card stock.  Also adhere your blue squares to the front of your pink squares.  "Happy Birthday" is embossed on the front of the card using my Versa Mark stamp pad and black embossing powder.  I embossed right on the printed card stock page.  Lastly, I adhered the cupcakes to the squares and then added them to the front of my card!

Using the same technique and some of the same tools as above here is another card if a different format.  My husband actually came up with the idea for the cupcakes... :>.

Here is a set of 5 cards made using a 6x6 one sheet wonder template.  I really enjoyed this template and how easy there were to put together.  These are great for making and keeping on hand to use when something comes up.  I usually don't put sentiments on them until I go to use it...that way I can always be sure to have a certain type of card.  These cards are also good for manly cards.  I don't know if anybody has as much difficulty as I do when it comes to making cards for men.  I have found that I rely on these more and more!

For these cards I used the 416 Happy Birthday sentiment stamp set and 415 Thanks a Bunch stamp set from Sparkle n Sprinkle.  I cut my circle/star paper out according to the OSW template and sponged ink around the edges of the printed paper.  I then matted those pieces onto another piece of card stock with an 1/8" boarder and then adhered them to the fronts of my cards.  For the star cards I embellished the a couple of the cards using a star punch and on one of the cards glittered a start to add some needed flare.

Here are some individual shots of each card!

Click to view this one bigger...you can see I embossed Happy Birthday on the blue card stock.  Subtle I know but could be used as a manly card!
