Pocket Cards- Tulips part 2

Hello!  Here is another card I made using the Tulips Stamp Set from Sparkle N Sprinkle.  I found myself wanting to do something different with the sentiment in this set.  I think I also put too much thought sometimes into my cards.  Here is why, bear with my random wondering here. :>  The sentiment states, "Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending" by Maria Robinson.  We are surrounded by analogies of circles.  I was taught to make life cycle diagrams in circles as kid.  Then as a youth I was taught that my life is like a rain drop.  Once it hits the water the ripples are the effect you have on what you come into contact with, which the ripples of a water drop happen to be... circles.  You have circle of friends and so the analogy continues.  Well, with this quote and the analogies of circles you can't go back to the beginning to start over but you can start new today, a new circle that encompasses the old.  All that to say this was the inspiration for this card.

How to make this card:

4 1/2 x 10 1/2 pink card stock
4 1/8 x 3 3/8 white card stock
3/4 x 11 black card stock
Tulips Stamp Set
Black ink pad
VersaMark pad
Silver Detail Embossing Powder
Colors (water color pencils, Copics, etc)
Dauber
Spellbinders Labels 17
Darice circle in circles embossing folder
adhesive
dimensional tape

First take your pink card stock and score lines at 3 1/2 and 7.  I then embossed the pink card stock with my circle in circles embossing folder.  The whole piece of card stock will not fit in the embossing folder so I tried to line it up with my score lines.  After embossing the card stock cut your 3 1/2 end panels from score line to opposing end of paper.  Then when you fold on the score lines you will have the pocket part of our card.  Adhere the bottom of your card together.  Take your black 3/4 x 11 piece of card stock and fold around the pink card stock to make our belly band.  Do not adhere the belly band to the pink card stock yet.  I would recommend you wait until you have your sentiment to be sure it is centered but go ahead and adhere the black card stock together to make a band with the fold in the front of the card (it will be hidden by the sentiment).  Now, on a white piece of card stock stamp the sentiment from the Tulips Stamp Set with the VersaMark stamp pad and emboss using the Silver detail embossing powder.  Cut out sentiment with Spellbinders Label 17 and daub the edges with black ink.  Adhere to the center of the belly band and center of the pink pocket card.  Now the pocket and sentiment part of your card should be complete.

Now for the part that slips into the pocket part of the card.  I stamped the tulips stamp on a extra piece of paper and colored the middle tulip and cut it out.  Then I adhered it to the front middle of my 4 1/8 x 3 3/8 white card stock with dimensional tape.  I then used the sentiment "Just a note" from the same tulip stamp set and stamped it on the bottom corner of my card stock.  Then I daubed the edges of the white card stock with black ink.

Thank you for reading this post and making it through my thought process of making this card!
