Tulips from Sparkle N Sprinkle 3rd post

Hello!  If you haven't been following my blog until now, welcome!  I have been doing a series of cards using Sparkle N Sprinkle Tulips Stamp Set.  This is a really pretty stamp set they have.

This is an easel card that I made.  It looks harder than it really is.  I used the template here and it ended up being a 4x4 (just click on the word template).  Here are the list of supplies that you will need.

2 pieces of purple card stock in the sized of 4 x 8 and 4 x 4
Coordinating piece of card stock 3 3/4 x 3 3/4
White strip of card stock 3/4 x 4
Ribbon
Snow glitter
Black ink pad
VersaMark ink pad
adhesive
dimensional tape
1 1/8 circle punch
Label 17 Spellbinders
Colors
Dauber

Assemble the base of your card.  Daub the edges of your coordinating 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 card stock and adhere to the front panel of the easel card.  Stamp your tulip image and color.  Then using the Sakura glue pen trace along the lines of the tulips at the bottom of the flower.  Sprinkle with the snow glitter and allow that time to dry.  I suggest doing one flower at a time so you don't let your glue dry before you get your glitter on there.

While the glitter dries on your flowers you can work on the white strip that goes on the base of the easel card.  Taking the word "Tulip" stamp and your VersaMark ink pad stamp the word tulip going across the 3/4 x 4 piece of white card stock.  I stamped the word four times across.  Then emboss with the concord embossing powder.

Then on a scrap piece of white card stock, stamp the word Tulip with your black ink.  Using your Sakura glue pen again, trace the letters and glitter with the Eggplant glitter.  Daub the edges of the embossed 3/4 x 4 white card stock with your black ink.  Punch out your glittered word Tulip with the 1 1/8 inch circle punch and daub the edges of it when it is dry.  Adhere the white strip of card stock to the base of your easel card and then using dimensional tape adhere the glittered word Tulip over one of your embossed words.

Now, back to the flowers that should be dry now.  Using the Spellbinders label 17 set, cut out the flowers and daub the edges of the cut out image with your black ink.  Adhere to the front on your card keeping in mind that you are adding ribbon to the bottom.  Add your ribbon and don't forget to adhere it to the card and enjoy your creation!  I hope this helps to brighten some one's day!
