Tulips part 4

Hello everyone!  Welcome to my crafting blog.  If you are just joining this series then welcome to spring in December!  I have been using a stamp set from Sparkle N Sprinkle and this is the fourth card I have made with Tulips Stamp Set.  The more I play around with this stamp set the more I love it!  There is so much you can do with it.  All of these cards are simple.  I feel that some times when we see a bigger stamp like the three tulips together one thinks they have to use the whole image and use the whole image together.  Here is a card where the whole image of the tulip is used.

Here is what you need to make this card.
Yellow card stock 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
Light blue card stock cut into three pieces measuring 1 5/8 x 3 3/8
Dark blue card stock cut into three pieces measuring 1 1/2 x 3 1/4
White piece of card stock
Dots embossing folder
Spellbinders Labels 14
Snow glitter
Black ink pad
VersaMark pad
adhesive
Dimensional tape
Dauber
Color tools of your choice

I stamped my tulip image and colored it.  Then using your Sakura Glue pen  go over the lines at the bottom of the tulips and sprinkle with snow glitter.  Set that aside to dry.  Using your VersaMark ink and the "Just a Note" sentiment from the Tulips Stamp Set stamp and emboss with the Cappuccino Embossing powder.

Cut your sentiment using the smallest of the Spellbinders Labels 14.  Now it's time to daub the edges of the sentiment and the 3 dark blue 1 1/2 x 3 1/4 pieces of card stock using your black ink.  I did not daub the edges of my sentiment very heavily.  In the picture above you can see the corner of one of the dark blue pieces of card stock and how more pronounced the black daubed edges are.

Cut out your tulips that should be dry by now.  Adhere the tulips to the dark blue pieces of card stock. Adhere the dark blue pieces of card stock to the light blue card stock.  Now, using your Dots embossing folder emboss your yellow piece of card stock.  Here is a picture of the back side of the embossed card stock.  I didn't know if the detail would show up well in the other pictures and I wanted to you see the texture we were adding to the card.

We can now adhere the tulips we mounted on our blue card stock to the front of the yellow embossed card stock.  Use dimensional tape when adhering your sentiment.

Here are some more images.
